- Does Caddium need an internet connection?
- No. Caddium runs entirely on your iPhone and works with no network connection at all.
- Do I need to create an account?
- No. There's no sign-in, no account, and nothing to set up — open the app and start a game.
- Where is my data stored?
- On your device only. See the privacy policy for details.
- Can I back up or move my history to a new phone?
- Yes — use the export/import feature to save your rounds as a file and restore them on any device running Caddium.
- How is my Caddium Index calculated?
- It's the average of your four department handicaps (Off the Tee, Approach, Short Game, Putting), each computed from your last three rounds of that game against a benchmark scaled to your target index. The in-app Coach tab explains the full scoring model.
- Where do the benchmark numbers come from?
- Putting Combine's benchmarks are measured, drawn from Lou Stagner / Arccos Golf data. The long-game benchmarks (Drives, Irons, Wedges, Shapes, Game Combine) are Caddium's own modeling estimates, clearly labeled in-app, and improve as more real sessions accumulate.
